apnā kām, literally ‘one’s own work’, is less of a label and more a philosophy or ethos to be guided by in work. It is an approach that favours original to formula, local to borrowed, alternative to mainstream; rooted yet inspired in growth by myriad wonderful traditions and practices of the world. It is a claim not of ownership of the work but the owning of the responsibility for the work.
To show up, in gratitude.
To see, and to share.
To do, and be.
